As part of my Signature Portrait Session creative fee, not only do I send you guidance on how to prepare and what to wear, I’m happy to help you “shop” for your photoshoot! The more effort you put into what to wear, the better our outcome, so I ask that you bring several outfits, and we’ll generally pick them once you’re here… but if you need help choosing what to bring or just want something fresh, I’m here for you.

One of the best things about portrait sittings and wardrobe is that it doesn’t need to fit perfectly! We can leave the back unzipped, if it’s too small, or clamp it, if it’s too big, because no one is going to see it! Too short or too long? I’ll crop the photo so no one can tell.

We’ll start in your closet. What do you already have? What are your go-to outfits? What makes you feel good? What’s hiding in the back that never sees the light of day (and should it? or nah?)?

Then, if you have a stylish friend whose wardrobe you admire, let’s “shop” your friend’s closet, maybe borrowing something from them for the special occasion this is. Oh… and I’m your friend, too, with a number of beautiful dresses and accessories in my studio available for you to wear.

If you’re sure you want to purchase something new, I’ll even accompany you to shop in store to provide my assistance.

We can set up a Skype or Zoom call and do wardrobe selection together, regardless of location, if I can’t physically make it to you.
