Most family photographs happen when the kids are young or at special occasions, like graduations and weddings. There might be some snapshots at family reunions (where everyone is dressed in their most comfortable matching T-shirt).
Once the kids are grown, however, formal family photos drop to nearly non-existent. I get it: it’s hard to get everyone together.
But I suggest you do. Mom isn’t going to be around forever, and I bet – deep down – she’d love to be celebrated in photographs again, especially if her “babies” are involved. Grandbabies and great-grandbabies are bonus!
I know as I get older, pix with my daughter are just as special as they were when she was a young child. I want that for you, too. I want that for your mother.
