Flashback Friday: 2016 – New Experiences and a Reminder

‘Tween photography kicked off my sixth year in business. Ten- to twelve-year-olds (in between kid and teenager) are such a fun age – open to new experiences, with a lot of interests. We always keep these sessions age-appropriate!

Another favorite: Engagement sessions (still all about her… with her favorite partner). This was also a year of more Event photography, with another wedding workshop and two more weddings. I started outreach to central Virginia at a bridal show, since we finally had a rough timeline of our move to the area.

Photographed more Seniors and Headshots… and personal branding, before I knew what it was called….

I was also brought back to WHY I started this business with my father’s death. One of the first things we turned to, after he passed, was the photographs. Of course, I picked up part of my shutterbug from him; he loved to take and share “pix” (that’s where I got my business name). There were plenty, which brought us great comfort.
