What do you want to be known for? Share that.Create your content strategyWhat does your audience want to know from you? Ideally, you’ll create a cohesive strategy for your brand, creating and repurposing content that speaks to your ideal audienceregularly – about topics that build your Know/Like/Trust factor. We all know people do business (or befriend) people they know, like, and trust. Having a plan helps you become visible faster and easier.

Talk about subjects you want to be known for. For instance, I want to be known for my photography expertise, not bookkeeping… even though I know a LOT about bookkeeping. I’ll search my content library for photographs that help me show the story of what it’s like to work with me for pictures, not debits and credits.

Experts recommend that your content should be:

  • 70% Educational – what information does your audience need or want to know from you
  • 20% Results or social proof – what have others shared about working with you
  • 10% Personal – with a tie to your brand: your mission, your values, your experience... and how that benefits them

These are some of the topics we discuss when creating a plan for your branding sessions, so you know you’ll have appropriate images to use as you share your brand online or in print.
