Bridal Photography

Many brides choose to have a bridal session - an unrushed opportunity to have beautiful portraits taken in your gorgeous dress. This session is also a great opportunity to follow up a trial run with the hairdresser and makeup artist who will be creating your look on your wedding day. Still made up, wearing your gown, and fully accessorized, we can see what you’ll look like in photographs of your big day.

Boudoir sessions are quite popular, with brides presenting an album or collection of photos “for his (or her) eyes only.” All photos will be tastefully done (suggestive, but not sleazy), and at your level of comfort. I’m happy to help with lingerie selection and can offer a few items from my shooting wardrobe.

Consider a Day After session (which can be any time before the tuxedo is returned, actually) - a chance to have a couple’s newlywed session without the stress of trying to fit in portraits together on the wedding day. You’ll be able to focus on each other during the session, instead of worrying about your guests.

Some brides are also scheduling Glam the Dress or Trash the Dress sessions. These can be as tame as a bridal session “after the fact,” without the worry of messing up your gown before the big day… or you can full-on play in it (and “trash” it). Think: wading in a lake, climbing a tree, playing paintball or with tempera paint, running through a field, going muddin' on a four-wheeler, smashing your cake, standing under a waterfall… or simply walking through the woods or along city streets.
