I love to photograph women of all ages, but particularly enjoy working with young women in middle and high school.
Do you remember being a pre-teen or “tween”? I was a freckled carrot top, desperately in need of braces. Babies are new; little kids are cute. But once they hit age ten? They aren’t really children any more, but not quite teens, and being in-be“tween” can be hard. Let’s give your girl a record of who she is, right now, before she changes again. Let’s show her she’s beautiful and capture her personality. Let’s give her a boost of self-confidence, and at the same time, create a reminder for you about what she was like at this stage.
Seeing your teen daughter mature into a young woman is joyful, yet bittersweet. No longer a little girl, she’s bloomed right before your eyes. Celebrate who she was, who she is, and who she is becoming at this special time in her life. Before you know it, she’ll be grown up and going places, stepping out into the world.
Take a look at your photo albums. Are they anything like mine? After elementary school, the number of pictures drop off dramatically…. Imagine the impact a single, beautiful image can have: to be able to look at a photo and not see too skinny or too fat, too many freckles, too short hair… but to just see yourself as beautiful. Let’s do this for your “baby.”
* I would love to photograph her Bat Mitzah, Quinceañara, or Sweet 16. I’d also like to photograph her with her mother.
Ready for some great photographs? Let’s get to know each other over coffee (or smoothies… or milkshakes…), and talk about celebrating your life’s true beauty in images you love. You can reach me at firstname.lastname@example.org or (434) 226-0365.
My Promise: Together, we will create amazing photos you’ll want to share. How do you want to be photographed?
